Nella giornata odierna, presso La Nuvola di Fuksas a Roma, ha preso il via l’edizione 2024 di Cybertech Europe. Amir Rapaport, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Cybertech and Israel Defense, ha rilasciato un'intervista a Il Giornale D’Italia:
“Cybertech 24 in Europe is reflecting the fact that cyber is everywhere, like the world is having many big big changes, the wars, a lot of cybercrime, a lot of fake in the Internet, a lot of threats in critical infrastructures. So this is going very fast and going very fast, the threats are going very very fast, opportunities for industries are growing as well. So, here, we can see people from government and from the private sector, dealing both, about the big threats but also how to make it more secure and how to work together.
The main targets, for the future, so big things, are the impact of artificial intelligence for example, on the security of the Internet, because in the past it was more complicated to make an attack with cyber tools. Now you can use AI tools, you can create a lot of nonhuman identities in the Internet, so it has become more and more complicated to know who is real, who is fake and there are a lot of attacks on the cloud, and we are all in the cloud, if we want and even if we don’t want. So the challenge is just getting bigger and bigger and it means that the collaboration between the private sector to the government sector is not an option. It’s mandatory. So this is how I see the situation right now towards the end of 2024.
AI is a big change of our lives and you can use artificial intelligence everywhere, for every purpose, so like any other new technology, now it’s a it’s a race. A race between the good and the bad, because not only the defenders, the cyber security professionals can use artificial intelligence to protect our world, our Internet better, but also the bad guys, they can use artificial intelligence. They can just do three clicks in the Internet, and they can create an attack. So this is a very important race between the attackers to the defenders. Using AI to make a more secured world, but also using AI to attack other people, other countries. So hopefully, like in the past, the Good will win, but the race is just in the beginning and the AI is definitely a big thing for the Internet, and for the cyber security. about the world so
Elon Musk is everywhere, if we invite him or if we don’t invite him. Because he is part of everything in this world. For example X, formally Twitter, is a very important player in the social media, in the world of what is true and what is fake. So he is a big influencer, so he is not here with us physically, but definitely Elon Musk is everywhere also in this conference.”
